Overview
Provides nursing care by formulating nursing diagnoses, setting care objectives, defining interventions, and offering physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends. This includes helping them understand patient conditions, medications, and self-care skills, while also monitoring changing conditions and needs and reassessing care objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care by reviewing physician orders, communicating the nursing care plan, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals while providing comprehensive support to patients and their families.
- Develop nursing care plans by gathering medical histories, examining patients, documenting their physical and psychological conditions, and collaborating with family members.
- Educate patients and families about healthcare needs by setting care goals and providing information on conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
- Assess patient care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes, reviewing records, and adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Ensure a safe and healthy patient care environment by following infection control policies, medication protocols, and legal regulations.
- Document patient care services accurately in patient and departmental records.
- Maintain patient care equipment by following operational guidelines, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring supplies are stocked.
- Ensure readiness of patient care supplies by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed.
- Stay competent in nursing practices as outlined by leadership.

The candidate must be able to work the specified hours. Successful performance of essential job functions requires adequate visual acuity, effective communication skills, and the ability to hear and distinguish sounds. These requirements represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the role. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Must possess an active license from the Board of Nursing in the state of practice upon hire.
Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting.
