RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n• 3x12 schedule with every other 3rd weekend required
\n• 2 years of nursing experience required
\n• Travel experience required
\n• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
\n• CPI certification preferred
\n• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
\n• Care for adult and geriatric patients in Progressive Care Unit setting
\n• Work with cardiac telemetry, high flow nasal cannula, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
\n• Experience with isolation precautions/PPE, wound care/wound vac, and telemetry monitoring
\n• 36 hours of orientation provided
\n• Unit has 30 beds with daily census of 28 patients
\n• Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
\n• Must have compact license or Maryland license
\n• Two supervisor references required
\n• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing
