They operate as a comprehensive 'One-Stop-Shop' for investors, delivering innovative, high-quality projects. Currently seeking an experienced Vice President of Construction to lead and oversee all construction operations for our transformative portfolio in the Greater Seattle Area. This senior leadership role is critical to executing our strategic vision and delivering exceptional results that align with our investment philosophy.


Vice President of Construction Job Responsibility

  • Develop and implement the strategic construction plan for the company’s real estate development portfolio, ensuring alignment with investment goals.
  • Oversee all construction projects from inception to completion, managing budgets, schedules, and the highest quality standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the project management team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and safety.
  • Negotiate and manage all major contracts with general contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure cost efficiency and specification compliance.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with investors, architects, engineers, and local authorities to secure permits and ensure full regulatory compliance.
  • Proactively monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective solutions to safeguard timelines and financial performance.
  • Provide regular, detailed updates to senior leadership and stakeholders on project status, financials, and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive innovation in construction methodologies, incorporating sustainable practices and advanced technologies.

VP of Construction Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Director or VP-level) overseeing large-scale commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments.
  • Proven expertise in strategic planning, portfolio budgeting, and complex project delivery.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills with a proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and financial analysis tools.
  • Must be able to work on-site full-time in the Greater Seattle Area.
  • Experience within a real estate development or private equity environment is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is a strong plus, given our global partnerships.
