Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with expertise in cardiac imaging procedures. This role requires a dedicated professional to deliver exceptional patient care within a fast-paced Cath Lab environment, operating on a contract basis in Jackson, OH.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care using advanced radiologic and Cath Lab skills.
- Perform scrubbing and monitoring duties, documenting multiple modalities within the Cath Lab.
- Assist in heart catheterization procedures, including emergent cases involving Impella and IABP devices.
- Support interventions in Peripheral and Electrophysiology (EP) labs.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, the Cardiac Cath manager, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to a call response time of 45 minutes, covering one weekend per month and two nights weekly.
- Maintain meticulous records and patient information with the highest level of professionalism.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years current Cath Lab experience required.
- At least 1 year of travel Cath Lab experience preferred.
- Must hold valid Ohio State Licensure.
- Certification requirements: ARRT, BLS, ACLS.
- Ability to respond effectively within a 45-minute call timeframe.
- Reside outside a 60-mile radius from the job location.
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM 5:30 PM).
- One weekend per month and two night shifts per week.
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
