Job Type:
Contract – 3 Months (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Support Assistant to join our team on a short-term, project-based contract. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with basic IT skills who can assist with routine tasks, provide hands-on support, and help ensure the success of time-sensitive IT projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with project-based IT initiatives such as hardware deployment, workstation setup, or software installations.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Support inventory tracking of IT equipment and supplies.
- Assist with account provisioning, password resets, and user access requests.
- Document processes, project updates, and maintain accurate records.
- Provide support to the IT team with day-to-day tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of computers, operating systems (Windows preferred), and common applications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently under supervision.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Previous IT support or help desk experience (preferred, but not required).
