Heartline Staffing is seeking a qualified Emergency Room Registered Nurse for the following opportunity.

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse delivers patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department, providing treatment for conditions ranging from minor injuries to acutely or critically ill patients. This role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to remain composed and professional under pressure.

The Emergency Room RN triages, assesses, and treats patients of all ages, manages multiple cases simultaneously, and prioritizes care based on acuity levels across the unit. This role includes collaboration with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate follow-up care and referrals, while ensuring accurate, timely documentation and maintaining a patient-focused, safety-aware approach at all times.

Schedule:

This is a full-time role with rotating weekends. Available shifts include nights, days, evenings, and mixed shifts. Med Surg nurses may be considered for cross-training into the Emergency Department for night shift positions.

Compensation:

• Hourly pay ranges from $32.33 to $48.50 based on years of experience.
• Rates include $32.33 for 0 to 9 years of experience.
• Rates include $40.41 for 10 to 19 years of experience.
• Rates include $48.50 for 20 or more years of experience.
• Night shift differential is $3.00 per hour.
• Weekend day differential is $3.00 per hour.
• Weekend night differential is $7.00 per hour.
• A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered with a two-year commitment.
• Relocation assistance is available up to $1,500.

Requirements:

Education:

- Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or current enrollment in a BSN program

Experience:

- One year of Registered Nurse experience in an Emergency Department or acute care setting preferred

- Med Surg experience considered for cross-training on night shift

Licensure and Certification:

- Active Registered Nurse license in Virginia or multistate compact RN license required

- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
