Position Overview
A well‑respected medical center in White Plains, NY is seeking an experienced Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support weekday imaging operations. This is a steady Monday–Friday schedule with strong weekly pay and a collaborative, traveler‑friendly environment. PET experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for a tech looking to expand or utilize advanced NM skill sets.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
- Active BLS
- ARRT(N) or NMTCB
- Valid New York State license
- PET experience required
- Strong communication and patient‑care skills
Responsibilities
- Perform high‑quality nuclear medicine procedures, including general NM and PET/CT
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
- Ensure proper patient positioning, imaging protocols, and documentation
- Maintain compliance with radiation‑safety standards and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff to support efficient workflow
- Provide patient‑centered care in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment
