Location: Colorado (Weld/Larimer area)
Employment Type: Part-Time
Compensation: 20-30 based on experience

Northern Lights Home Care, LLC is a Class B non-medical home care agency dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered support that allows individuals to remain safely and comfortably in their homes. We value professionalism, integrity, communication, and excellent care.

We are seeking a Home Care Administrator who will oversee agency operations, compliance, staff coordination, and client satisfaction in accordance with Colorado CDPHE 6 CCR 1011-1, Chapter 26.


Position Overview

The Home Care Administrator is responsible for ensuring that the agency meets all state licensing requirements, maintains compliance with CDPHE regulations, supervises scheduling and service delivery, supports staff, and promotes a positive, ethical culture.

This is a part-time role with the potential to increase hours as the agency grows.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure the agency remains in full compliance with Colorado CDPHE Home Care regulations (Chapter 2 and Chapter 26).
  • Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and administrative records.
  • Oversee client intake, assessments, care plans, and service authorizations.
  • Manage caregiver scheduling and ensure coverage for all shifts.
  • Supervise staff and provide ongoing training and support.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and home visits.
  • Update policies, procedures, and compliance manuals as needed.
  • Serve as point of contact for clients, families, caregivers, and regulatory officials.
  • Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action plans.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards at all times.
  • Coordinate onboarding, hiring, and credential checks for employees.
  • Participate in audits, surveys, and inspections from CDPHE.


Required Qualifications

Must meet Colorado CDPHE Administrator Requirements, including ONE of the following:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in health care, home care, long-term care, caregiving, or related fields
    OR
  • A combination of education and training that demonstrates the ability to effectively manage a home care agency
    OR
  • Completion of an Administrator Mentorship & Oversight Plan (if lacking prior experience)

✔ Must complete 8-hour Initial Administrator Training (can be completed after hire)
✔ Must pass Criminal Background Check and APS Check
✔ Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
✔ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
✔ Professional, compassionate, and reliable
✔ Competent with email, basic computer systems, and documentation
✔ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for home visits)


Preferred Qualifications

(Not required but helpful)

  • Experience working in home care, assisted living, or healthcare administration
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Familiarity with Colorado CDPHE regulations
  • Experience supervising staff or managing schedules
  • HR or office management experience
  • Bilingual a plus


Schedule & Compensation

  • Part-time position (5-10 hours/week to start)
  • Flexible hours between Monday–Friday
  • Hourly rate will be determined based on experience and qualifications
  • No benefits offered at this time
