This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is based onsite in Puyallup, WA, supporting a single school with a meaningful caseload focused on students with developmental disabilities. The role involves collaborating closely with the IEP team to help students achieve their communication and participation goals, through individualized support and comprehensive evaluations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech, language, and communication therapy to students with developmental disabilities
- Conducting formal evaluations and assessments to identify students' needs and progress
- Collaborating with the IEP team to develop, implement, and monitor goals and strategies
- Offering professional support and guidance to educators and staff to enhance classroom participation
The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- Hold a current Speech-Language Pathology license in Washington State
- Possess either CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or be a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate
- Have ESA (Educational Staff Associate) Certification, qualifying for school-based practice
