Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available at an elementary school in Aurora, CO, starting ASAP through May 22 for the current school year. This onsite role offers the opportunity to support a caseload of approximately 40 students in a dynamic, engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify student needs and support eligibility for special education services.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education coordinators, and parents to develop effective intervention and behavior plans.
- Provide counseling and support for students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities.
- Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with district policies and state regulations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly describe professional experience and methodologies during the interview process.
- Energetic and positive demeanor, capable of engaging effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Experience managing caseloads of similar size preferred.
Location: Aurora, CO (Elementary School Setting, Little Raven Elementary)
Interview Process: This opportunity involves a two-step interview processinitial meeting with the Special Education Coordinator followed by a final interview with the School Principal. Candidates should be prepared to articulate their skills and experience in detail.
