Job DescriptionJob Title: Sr. Staff Accountant

Location: Clearwater, FL (100% on-site)

Job type: Contract to Hire

Pay: $80k-$100k

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Logistics Accounting & Billing: Handling, reviewing, and processing billing files for large volumes of freight and logistics shipments.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Preparing, managing, and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Reconciliation & Compliance: Ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, reconciling accounts (payable/receivable), and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Operational Collaboration: Working closely with logistics and operations teams to translate operational activities (e.g., shipments, capacity) into financial data.
  • Process Improvement: Driving efficiency in financial workflows and utilizing modern software to streamline accounting tasks.

Requirements

  • Experience in accounting, preferably within a corporate or logistics environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with financial reporting and reconciliation.

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
