Salary Range: $55,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate new suppliers for raw materials, components, and MRO items.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
- Generate purchase orders and manage the full procurement cycle from requisition to delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with production and planning departments to optimize inventory levels and material availability.
- Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or delivery.
- Conduct market research to identify new products, technologies, and sourcing opportunities.
Recommended Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of direct purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365) for procurement processes.
- Demonstrated strong negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, or Bills of Material (BOMs).
- Proven track record of achieving cost savings and improving supplier performance.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM).
- Experience in international sourcing and logistics.
- Familiarity with specific manufacturing processes relevant to the company's products (e.g., CNC machining, injection molding).
