Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time, on-site position with school districts in the Winchester, VA area. This is a great opportunity to work with a supportive educational team focused on helping students improve communication skills and achieve academic success.

Position Overview:

  • Location: Winchester, Virginia

  • Position Type: Full-Time, On-Site

  • Contract Term: 2025-2026 School Year

Minimum Requirements (Virginia):

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Valid Virginia SLP License issued by the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology

  • Valid Pupil Personnel Services License from the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE), with an endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFY candidates may be considered)

  • Strong knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and educational documentation practices

  • Completion of required background checks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine speech and language needs

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success

  • Document services and maintain accurate student records

  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

  • Provide training and resources to staff as needed
