Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time, on-site position with school districts in the Winchester, VA area. Minimum Requirements (Virginia):
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

Valid Virginia SLP License issued by the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology

Valid Pupil Personnel Services License from the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE), with an endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFY candidates may be considered)

Strong knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and educational documentation practices

Completion of required background checks
Key Responsibilities:
-
Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine speech and language needs
-
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals
-
Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students
-
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
-
Document services and maintain accurate student records
-
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
-
Provide training and resources to staff as needed
