About the Role
The Mental Health Professional (Family Based) serves as the lead member of a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for treatment plan development and implementation. This role provides individual and family therapy, case management, and therapeutic interventions in the home and community.
You will:
- Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy (primarily school-based/outpatient settings)
- Develop and update treatment plans and assessments
- Collaborate with families, schools, managed care organizations, and referral sources
- Maintain compliance with CASSP principles and PA outpatient regulations
- Complete documentation within established timelines
- Participate in supervision, training, audits, and credentialing processes
- Promote program growth and quality improvement
This position requires flexibility to work hours that meet client needs, including evenings and occasional weekends.
Qualifications
Education:
Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing, Education, Rehabilitation, or related Human Services field.
Experience:
- At least 2 years working with children and adolescents
- Prior outpatient or similar behavioral health experience preferred
- Experience in CASSP Family Based services preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass required background clearances (FBI, Childline, Criminal, driving record)
