Position Summary
Seeking a reliable and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in both clinical and administrative medical office duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients and record vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints
- Assist providers with examinations and procedures
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, and specimen collection as needed
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies and equipment
- Ensure proper sterilization and infection control standards
- Document patient information accurately in the EMR system
- Schedule appointments and assist with front desk duties when required
- Provide patient education and follow-up instructions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional clinical environment
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required
- Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred
- Proficiency in EMR systems
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
Preferred Skills
- Phlebotomy and EKG certification
- Bilingual a plus
- Experience in specialty practice (if applicable)
