Make a meaningful difference in students’ daily lives by supporting classrooms as a Paraprofessional for the upcoming school year! Full-time opportunities are now available for multiple grade levels, with both general classroom and 1:1 positions, starting August 20th.
Openings include placements in 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 8th grades, as well as a dedicated role working closely with a kindergarten student, fostering academic and social growth from day one.
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience working with children or in a school setting is highly valued
- Ability to engage with diverse student needs across elementary or middle school levels
- Team-oriented attitude, collaborating effectively with teachers and support staff
- Patient, compassionate, and ready to inspire young learners
- Clear communication skills and the flexibility to adapt to different classroom settings
- Reliable and punctual, ensuring consistent support for students
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with classroom activities, small group instruction, and lesson preparation
- Offer individualized guidance to students to reinforce learning concepts
- Follow individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring additional support
- Encourage positive behaviors and help maintain a safe, welcoming classroom environment
- Support behavioral, emotional, and social development throughout the school day
- Provide supervision during transitions, lunch, or recess as needed
Position Details:
- Full-time, contract positions beginning August 20th
- Elementary school hours: 8:40am–3:50pm
- Middle school hours: 7:15am–2:40pm
