An intensive care nursing opportunity is available in the Joelton, TN area on a contract basis. This role offers a challenging and rewarding environment within a dynamic critical care setting. The position requires an adaptable RN with experience in ICU nursing, focusing on managing critically ill patients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive critical care nursing to patients in a 21-bed ICU unit
- Manage ventilators, vasoactive drips, and perform critical patient assessments
- Care for patients with neuro, stroke, STEMI, tracheostomy, and other high-acuity conditions
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Use Cerner EMR to document and coordinate patient care activities
- Float between medical-surgical, step-down, and emergency departments as needed to support staffing
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current RN license in Tennessee or multistate licensure required
- At least one year of ICU experience, including ventilator management and vasoactive medication administration
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Comfort working with a 2:1 patient ratio in a fast-paced critical care setting
Schedule and Contract Details:
- Day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, call as needed when units are understaffed
- Block scheduling with no guaranteed hours and maximum one week time off
- No holiday requests off allowed
- Floating assignments across multiple units required
