Responsibilities: This is a great opportunity for a licensed Project Engineer to join a reputable firm in the area. This person will act as the clients' point of contact for civil/municipal projects with a focus on water distribution systems. You'll be involved in budgeting and forecasting, design efforts, coordinating with the project team members, permitting, and reviewing calculations and other technical items. This person will perform localized travel, with very few overnights. This is an on-site, direct hire opportunity offering work/life balance, great benefits, and an opportunity to grow into an Office Manager role.

-B.S in Civil Engineering strongly preferred

-Experience with design of water/storm or waste water utilities required

-PE license required, preferably in the state of North Carolina

-2+ years experience as a Project Engineer required

-Proficiency with AutoCAD required

- Ability to work on-site and perform localized travel as needed

- Knowledge of permitting processes required
