Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Deliver comprehensive nursing care as a Registered Nurse (RN-MS), utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient needs across a variety of departments. This opportunity involves floating between departments and local locations within a 20-mile radius, ensuring a dynamic work environment and diverse experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, ensuring safety, effectiveness, and patient-centered approaches.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, accurately documenting all actions.
- Identify and address patient and family education and discharge planning needs throughout the care episode.
- Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and non-licensed assistive personnel in clinical duties.
- Complete required education and competency testing related to patient populations, procedures, and protocols.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with a Master of Science (RN-MS) degree.
- Proven ability to work flexibly across multiple departments and locations.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Experience supervising clinical staff is preferred.
