We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Periodontist to complement our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental diseases related to the gums and supporting structures of the teeth. Our ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in both surgical and non-surgical periodontal treatments, a commitment to patient education, and a passion for improving patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed diagnostic examinations to assess periodontal health.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for managing gum disease and other periodontal issues.
- Perform periodontal procedures, including scaling and root planing, soft tissue grafts, and dental implant placements.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of periodontal care.
- Collaborate with our dental team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and updated patient records, adhering to health regulations.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in periodontology and implement best practices in clinical care.
Requirements
- DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Successful completion of a residency program in Periodontics.
- Valid state dental license and board certification.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in a periodontal practice preferred.
- Exceptional communication and patient interaction skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
