A specialized opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with expertise in Interventional Radiology (IR) to support a well-established Medical Imaging unit in Aurora, CO. This contract role offers a dynamic work environment equipped with advanced imaging technology, including CT, MRI, X-Ray, Ultrasound, and Interventional Radiology suites.
Schedule & Hours:
- Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
- One weekday night on call
- One weekend on call per month
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform image-guided invasive procedures using IR, CT, and Ultrasound technologies.
- Monitor patients undergoing MRI with anesthesia or pacemaker observation.
- Collaborate closely with an experienced team of RNs and medical imaging professionals to deliver top-quality patient care.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current RN licensure with solid experience in Interventional Radiology nursing.
- ACLS and PALS certification required.
- Experience with Meditech EMR system is preferred.
- Previous employment or familiarity with similar medical imaging facilities is a plus.
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to dynamic schedules and call responsibilities.
