Based out of Winchester, Kentucky, we specialize in the construction management method, performing projects throughout Kentucky and surrounding states. We are seeking an experienced on-site Project Manager/Construction Manager to join our team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for candidates with a proven record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and with exceptional quality. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate effectively with all members of the project team.
Responsibilities:
- Be present on-site during work hours daily.
- Manage and coordinate all contractors and suppliers on the project.
- Collaborate daily with the Project Manager, Design Team, and Owner.
- Obtain schedule milestones and ensure quality control.
- Resolve issues as they arise and seek support from the Project Manager as needed.
- Prepare and maintain daily reports.
- Process and document RFIs, ASIs, PRs, Submittals, and other necessary documents.
- Perform and document weekly meetings with contractors.
- Ensure all work and paperwork are 100% complete at or before the final completion date.
- Primary Job Requirements:
- Work directly with clients, design team, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Coordinate, schedule, and supervise all construction activities.
- Oversee, track, and report the progress and quality of work on a daily basis.
- Maintain the construction schedule and identify and solve problems daily.
- Responsible for safe work practices.
- Develop solutions for any special coordination issues with the client and/or contractors.
- Manage a field document system for all construction documents, including shop drawings, RFIs, PRs, ASIs, and Daily Reports.
- Review and coordinate drawings and submittals.
- Schedule and manage contractors' weekly and monthly job site coordination meetings.
- Expedite the punch list process in preparation for project closeout.
- Travel statewide as necessary.
- Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a full-charge supervisor in commercial, industrial, and/or municipal construction.
- Commercial/Industrial Construction experience required.
- Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and scheduling software, a lot of your job will be documentation of the work performed on the computer.
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction.

This job is a lot of documenting the project on the computer and being the boots on the ground for the company. We do not self perform the work but you will be expected to be on the jobsite daily, coordinating the project by the schedule.
