Description of Position
A successful Heavy Highway and Utility Construction Company located in Urbana, Ohio is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist for their fast-paced office. Candidate must be capable to perform the following functions:
General Duties
· Daily
o Accounts Payable Processing
o Communicate with Vendors via Email & Phone
o Respond to Incoming Customer Calls
· Weekly
o Inter-Company Invoicing & Expense Tracking
· As Needed
o Project Support
o OUPS Utility Verification & Special Hauling Permits
o Various Administrative Duties
o Communicate with Crew Members, Management, and Office Personnel
o Maintain QuickBooks Vendor Records
o Order Office Supplies
Requirements
· Accounts Payable Experience
· QuickBooks Experience (a Plus, but not Required) and Excel & MS Word Proficiency
· Professionalism & Excellent Customer Service
· Telephone Skills
· Maintain Confidential Information & Accurate Files
· Experience with Basic Office duties, including Filing, Copying, and Scanning
· Attention to Detail
· Organizational Skills
· Multitasking Ability
· Analytical/Problem Solving Ability
Benefits
· $24-$26 per hour, based on experience.
· Health & Wellness is part of Wage Package, if requested.
· 8 Paid Holidays
· 401k with 3% Company Matching, after 1 year
· 1 Week Vacation after 1 year; 2 Weeks after 2 years
· Full-time, Monday-Friday
