Job Description

Job DescriptionRobotics‑Enabled Packaging Line Technician

Do you enjoy keeping complex, automated lines humming—without compromising safety or quality? Imagine starting your shift by reviewing targets with the Operations Team Lead, then coordinating multiple machines and robotic cells to meet specs, minimize waste, and ship on time. That’s the challenge—and the opportunity—waiting for you.

You will

• Lead with safety: follow plant safety protocols, wear required PPE, complete vehicle checks, and report incidents or near misses immediately.
• Maintain 5S discipline—clean, organized stations that support safe, reliable output.
• Run equipment to specification; monitor continuously; make timely adjustments to prevent stops and reduce scrap.
• Own quality: follow the positive release program; inspect output; use measuring/inspection devices; take corrective action on defects and log results.
• Record everything that matters: production charts, rework/waste summaries, and entries in the quality database.
• Operate multiple machines while safeguarding OEE performance.
• Work with and around robotic and highly automated systems.
• Advance the process: recommend improvements, join CI teams, and help drive down costs.
• Build better documentation: help write SOPs and work instructions; conduct and document daily/weekly/monthly maintenance.
• Support trial runs (SMA’s), machine installs, overhauls, and upgrades.
• Provide break relief and operate forklifts when needed.
• Take on other duties as assigned.

How you’ll grow

From SOP development to trialing new equipment, you’ll gain hands-on exposure across automated operations—under industry frameworks like BRC, GMP, HACCP, ISO 14001, and OSHA.

About you

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.
• 2+ years in high-volume manufacturing preferred.
• Clear communicator; collaborative teammate; organized and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable with basic math/PC skills to interpret drawings/specs and report performance.
• Working knowledge of measuring tools.
• Flexible to work 8- or 12-hour schedules on day/off-shifts, plus weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Adaptable to changing initiatives.

Where you’ll work

• High-noise environment—hearing protection and assigned PPE are required.
• Temperatures can dip below 40°ree;F or exceed 95°ree;F.
• Airborne fumes, dust, and odors may be present.
• Expect exposure to mechanical/electrical hazards, pinch points, cuts, burns, metal dust/slivers, and daily work near hazardous/explosive chemicals.
