Our organization is seeking a dynamic and seasoned Permanent Project Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who thrives in a vibrant, fast-paced environment and who is passionate about leading teams and delivering high-quality construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management. This role will require a hands-on approach, and the Project Manager will be directly involved in the planning, execution, and completion of various construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Review and analyze project specifications and deliverables to ensure feasibility and adherence to company standards.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
- Lead and coordinate teams of contractors, architects, engineers, and other professionals.
- Conduct site visits and monitor progress to ensure projects are on track, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
- Prepare and present regular status reports to stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and team members.
- Ensure all construction projects comply with safety and building regulations.
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors and suppliers to reach profitable agreements.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in the construction industry.
- Proven experience in project scheduling and construction management.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to make important decisions under pressure.
