Now Hiring: Special Education Teacher Director (K–12)
Near Capac, MI - about 25 minutes north of Detroit | Direct Placement Opportunity | Start ASAP
Are you passionate about making a difference in students’ lives? We’re looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a supportive team and provide high-quality services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with general education staff to implement IEPs
- Provide tutorial assistance and consultation
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Direct special education and student services programs for Capac Community Schools
- Ensure integration with instructional departments, RESA, and state guidelines
- Maintain compliance with state and federal special education and 504 regulations
- Manage and support special education staff
✅ What You’ll Need:
- MI Teaching License
- Special Education Endorsement
- Full Approval or Eligibility for Director of Special Education Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- LBS1 Endorsement (preferred)
- State Teacher Certification (Standard Special Teaching preferred)
