Job Description

Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.), active Audiolist license and 1+ years Audiologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A leading educational district in the San Antonio, TX area seeks a skilled Audiologist to provide specialized hearing services primarily at Mission Academy, with additional districtwide support. This contract position offers part-time hours (1520 per week) from ASAP through May 29, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations and hearing aid fittings for students.
Repair and maintain hearing devices as needed.
Collaborate with itinerant teachers to coordinate student services across the district.
Provide troubleshooting support during scheduled sessions beyond primary site.

Qualifications:

Masters degree in Audiology.
Minimum 5 years of experience in school-based settings or equivalent expertise.
ASHA certification (waiver available if held).
Valid state licenses to practice audiology and to fit and repair hearing aids.
Successful passage of relevant licensing exams.
Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks as required.

Preferred Schedule:

Audiology services primarily on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Location:

Services based on-site at Mission Academy with additional districtwide travel within the San Antonio area.
