JOB SUMMARY
The Barista will prepare and serve specialty coffee, other beverages, and select food items to patrons.
 
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, blended coffee, and tea; correctly customizes orders as requested.</li>
<li>Describes product details to customers.</li>
<li>Receives and processes customer payments.</li>
<li>Serves grab and go foods.</li>
<li>Ensures customer service stations are properly stocked with paper products or beverage preparation items.</li>
<li>Cleans and sanitizes all equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas.</li>
<li>Stocks supplies or retail products.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
<ul>
<li>Move 20 pounds without assistance</li>
<li>Stand for long periods of time </li>
</ul>
 
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
<ul>
<li>Excellent verbal communication</li>
<li>Ability to follow direction</li>
<li>Knowledge of food/drink production practices </li>
<li>Work independently</li>
<li>Provide excellent customer service</li>
</ul>
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 
<ul>
<li>Must be 18 years or older</li>
<li>High School diploma/GED preferred</li>
<li>Retail and/or production experience preferred </li>
</ul>
