Industrial Electrician | St. Johns, MI

Salary Range: $53,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions using testing devices.
• Perform preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and electrical systems.
• Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, electrical codes (e.g., NEC), and company policies.
• Repair and replace faulty electrical components such as motors, PLCs, and sensors.
• Calibrate and test electrical systems and components for optimal performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience troubleshooting, repairing, and installing industrial electrical systems (up to 480V).
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Experience with motor controls, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and servo systems.
• Adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all safety regulations.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and diagnostics (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell).
• Experience with robotics systems maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Current certification in NFPA 70E Arc Flash safety.
• Familiarity with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) setup, programming, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with instrumentation and control system calibration.
