Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position in a K-12 school setting located in McArthur, CA. The role is a contract position with a duration covering the entire school year, starting as soon as possible.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certification
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Ability to provide support to Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with Certified Clinical Competence (CCC) and school-based experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and team collaboration skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations and enhancing speech and language development
Location:
- McArthur, California
Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering evaluation, treatment, and progress monitoring for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Implement individualized therapy plans under supervision
- Collect and document student performance data to track progress effectively
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student communication goals
- Maintain detailed session notes and comply with school district policies and confidentiality regulations
