Company Overview
We are an Engineering and Construction company, offering design, management and consulting within the Industrial Power and Utilities space. Our team has been around for 30+ years, and continuing to grow. We are now looking to add another Electrical Engineer to the mixture.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and implement electrical systems and components for various projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that designs meet customer requirements while adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems and components for projects.
- Conduct voltage analysis and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Create and review electrical schematics and panel layouts.
- Perform power distribution calculations and system analysis.
- Utilize software tools such as ETAP and SKM for system modeling and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical design integration.
- Provide technical support for motor, generator, transformer, and circuit protection systems.
- Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems to ensure performance reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in electrical engineering/design roles.
- Proficient in power distribution and voltage analysis.
- Familiarity with NEC, IEEE standards, and low to medium voltage systems.
- Experience with design and analysis software such as ETAP and SKM is a plus.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including motors, generators, and transformers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
