Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our team and partner closely with the CFO, management, and executive leadership. In this role, you will analyze financial and business data, develop actionable insights, and support process improvements across the organization. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What You’ll Do:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements for new projects and system enhancements.
Collect, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data to identify trends and business performance.
Create dashboards and reports to present findings and support decision-making.
Evaluate business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to optimize performance and reduce costs.
Partner with IT to implement software solutions and system enhancements.
Support project planning, timelines, and delivery by managing risks and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Conduct testing and validation of new systems or processes.
Prepare clear documentation for requirements, processes, and system designs.
Monitor and track budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
Perform variance analysis and cost control, highlighting insights and opportunities for efficiency.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve analytical capabilities.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in a Finance Analyst, Business Analyst, or Senior Accountant role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in variance analysis, cash flow projections, and revenue analysis.
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, Macros); experience with Power BI or Tableau preferred.
Proven ability to develop dashboards and present complex data in a clear, concise manner.
Independent thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience working with grant cost rates and performance analysis is a plus.
