We are looking for a dynamic individual who has a strong attention to detail and understanding of accounting, finance and cost analysis principles to further support the growth of our team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Build financial models to evaluate business initiatives, procurement strategies and cost savings opportunities.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement and provide insights into management for decision-making.
- Assist in creating budgets and forecasts to support financial planning.\
- Track procurement spend to ensure alignment with budget and cost-control goals.
- Respond to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data.
- Partner with operations and supply chain to forecast purchasing needs and manage inventory costs.
- Compile and submit all necessary reporting to the CEO and CFO.
- Support pricing analysis and margin improvement initiatives
Other duties will include:
- Review all credit card charges and record statement entries into the ERP system.
- Support with processing and sending invoices for customer orders as well as recording banking and journal entries in the ERP system.
- Other accounting duties as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in finance, accounting or business is required.
- 5 plus years experience in financial or accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
- Advanced experience working in MS Excel required. Experience w/ Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus.
- Self-starter w/ excellent analytical and organizational skills. Must be detailed oriented.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
