Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time School Psychologist position is available for a contracted assignment in Jacksonville, FL, serving the needs of Duval County Public Schools. This role is on-site only and offers an opportunity to work closely with one school location with a likely caseload centered around school-age students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to evaluate whether students should be referred for psychological assessments.
  • Assist in determining appropriate evaluations and interpret assessment results for educational teams and parents.
  • Support eligibility meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development as needed.
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure compliance with relevant state and district guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Florida Department of Health (DOH) and Department of Education (DOE) licensure is required.
  • Previous experience in a school psychologist role preferred, with strong skills in evaluation and interpretation of psychological assessments.
  • Ability to complete fingerprinting requirements or confirm previous clearance through the state clearinghouse.
  • Effective communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and families.

Assignment Details:

  • Location: Jacksonville, Florida
  • Contract: Full-time, on-site only
  • Dates: Start ASAP through 5/28/2026
  • Hours: 35 hours per week (7 hours per day)
  • School placement: Typically one school site to be confirmed
  • Compensation: Target pay rate $38-$50 per hour

This position requires candidates to undergo fingerprinting for state clearance and obtain a JLA badge for school access.
