Job Description

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technician with specialized skills in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) settings and Open Heart procedures. This contract opportunity is based in Hudsonville, MI, offering a dynamic work environment focused on surgical excellence and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist surgical teams in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, particularly during open heart surgeries.
Prepare and maintain sterile environments for surgical procedures.
Manage surgical instruments and equipment efficiently.
Adhere to safety protocols and BLS standards.
Participate in on-call rotations to support surgical services during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications and Experience:

Certified Surgical Technician credential required.
Proven experience in CVOR with open heart surgical procedures.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Strong knowledge of surgical technology and adherence to sterile techniques.
Ability to respond effectively during on-call shifts, typically 2 weekdays and every 2nd to 3rd weekend, including one on-call holiday if applicable.

Schedule:

Shift: 06:30 AM to 5:00 PM
On-call duties during the week and weekends as outlined.
