About:
VocoVision is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our remote team and provide virtual services to K-12 students. This is an opportunity to work remotely and make a difference in the lives of students by delivering exceptional virtual speech and language services to school-aged individuals. In this role, you will help students overcome communication challenges, collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide tailored therapy sessions.
Job Summary:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders; develop and implement personalized IEPs.
- Provide therapy, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' communication needs.
- Conduct assessments, maintain detailed records, and contribute to team meetings for planning.
- Advocate for students, stay updated on best practices, and engage in ongoing professional development.
What You'll Need:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Oregon SLP Certification
- At least 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders.
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus.
- Reliable internet connection and computer
