Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A compounding pharmacy in northwestern Montana is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support both sterile and non-sterile compounding operations. This role involves preparing high-quality, customized medications in a professional and compliance-driven setting, ensuring patient safety and regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities include preparing sterile and non-sterile compounded medications based on prescriptions and standard procedures, maintaining accurate documentation per USP and regulatory guidelines, and ensuring aseptic techniques within sterile compounding areas. You will accurately measure, weigh, mix, package, and label compounded medications, assist with inventory management including ordering and restocking supplies, and support pharmacists with daily workflow needs. Maintaining safety, quality, and compliance standards is paramount.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Active Pharmacy Technician license or ability to obtain prior to start
  • National certification (CPhT) preferred
  • Prior experience in sterile and/or non-sterile compounding strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with precise procedure adherence
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented approach

Location: Bigfork, MT (northwestern Montana)
