A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 school located in Carpenter, WY for the upcoming school year. This onsite contract position offers an opportunity to work closely with approximately 45 students, providing both one-on-one and group therapy. Responsibilities include conducting assessments and testing, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and participating in IEP meetings to support student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams during IEP meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each student
- Implement strategies and interventions to support communication development
Qualifications:
- Illinois State SLP License (IL SSW License) required
- Experience working with school-aged children in speech therapy settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, therapy techniques, and IEP processes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative school environment
