Job DescriptionSalary:
Since 2003, NextGen Technologies has been a pioneer in fire protection and low-voltage solutions. We're seeking an experienced technician passionate about safety and client satisfaction to join our growing team.
Core Responsibilities: Install, program, test, and maintain fire detection and signaling systems Perform system diagnostics and troubleshooting Install critical components including panels, alarms, pull stations, and detectors Respond to service calls and emergency situations Cable installation and termination across multiple systems:
- Fire alarm systems
- Security systems
- CCTV
- Telecommunications
- Nurse call systems
Required Qualifications: 3+ years experience as a low-voltage technician Comprehensive knowledge of fire safety codes and regulations Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance and lift up to 50 pounds independently
- Work at heights above 10 feet
- Work in confined spaces
- Operate in various temperature conditions
- Stand for extended periods Available for overtime and emergency calls when needed
Preferred Qualification:
- NICET I Certification (We support certification advancement)
