Staff Accountant (Accounts Payable Focus)

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning high‐volume AP processes while continuing to build well‐rounded accounting experience.

What You’ll Do
This role supports day‐to‐day accounting operations with a primary focus on AP, while assisting with close and compliance activities. Responsibilities include:
- Processing vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding and approvals
- Managing weekly payment runs and maintaining vendor relationships
- Reconciling AP accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Supporting month‐end close tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Assisting with expense reporting and credit card reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate documentation and supporting audits
- Identifying opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiency
- Supporting additional accounting duties as needed
Ideal Candidate Profile
The client is targeting candidates who bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–4 years of accounting or AP experience
- Solid understanding of AP processes and GAAP fundamentals
- Experience working in ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, etc.)
- Strong Excel skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
