Maintenance Supervisor – South Charlotte | Full-Time | $28–$30/hr
Location: South Charlotte, NC
Schedule: Full-Time | Multi-Shift Support (3 shifts/day, 5 days/week)
Compensation: $28.00–$30.00/hour, based on experience
A well-established manufacturing facility in South Charlotte is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor with strong technical expertise and leadership skills. This is a hands-on role leading a small maintenance team to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production operations. The facility is clean, organized, and focused on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in regular, preventive, and emergency maintenance for all machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems (240V–480V / 3-phase)
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and machine blueprints
- Maintain inventory of maintenance materials, supplies, and repair parts
- Initiate purchase requisitions and coordinate with vendors
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards
- Support plant engineering projects and tooling maintenance
- Fill out documentation and track KPIs related to maintenance performance
Requirements:
- Previous Maintenance Technician experience is required
- Supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of electrical installation and troubleshooting
- Experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on industrial machines
- Ability to read calipers, schematics, and blueprints
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, drives, programs, and tooling
- Must be able to stand, crouch, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Availability for extended hours and rare on-call emergency support
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in plastic extrusion or injection molding
- Knowledge of advanced maintenance methodologies
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations
