At SimonMed Imaging, the fastest-growing outpatient radiology practice in the nation, we are looking for a dedicated Technologist Assistant Advanced to support our radiology technologists. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring quality patient care, comfort, and safety during MRI procedures. You’ll engage directly with patients, providing education and assistance while working in a dynamic environment alongside board-certified subspecialty radiologists. We can’t wait to meet you!

Your Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate competency in job-related skills tailored to our diverse patient populations.
• Administer, coordinate, and evaluate patient registration processes.
• Welcome visitors and patients with a warm greeting.
• Manage check-in and check-out processes, including insurance verification and cost explanations.
• Guide patients to appropriate resources for further information.
• Answer phone calls and relay messages efficiently.
• Prepare the imaging room for examinations, ensuring proper isolation precautions are in place.
• Provide exceptional customer service by clearly explaining procedures to patients.
• Position patients comfortably while maintaining their modesty.
• Assist patients with dressing and undressing, and escort them to and from exam rooms.
• Interact compassionately with patients, from healthy individuals to those critically ill.
• May be required to start IVs as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred).
• Phlebotomy Certification or Medical Assisting Certificate.

Physical Demands:

This position may require lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for extended periods, and frequent standing and walking.

Dress Attire:

Business casual or scrubs, depending on the department.
