A growing mail order pharmacy located in Athens, Ohio is seeking a licensed Pharmacist (RPh) to join their team on a contract basis. This position offers flexibility for either part-time or full-time hours, catering to candidates preferences within regular business hours. This role is ideal for pharmacists who prefer a verification-centric position with limited direct patient interaction, centered on accuracy and quality assurance.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify prescriptions ensuring compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Oversee and manage the dispensing workflow in a mail order pharmacy environment
- Maintain precise documentation and uphold quality assurance standards
- Collaborate with pharmacy personnel to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment
- Adhere to all operational policies, maintaining a compliant and efficient work environment
Schedule:
- Monday Friday: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM 4:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
Flexible scheduling options are available for both part-time and full-time within these hours.
Qualifications:
- Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing with no history of negative licensure actions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience in prescription verification preferred
