Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available at an elementary school in Aurora, CO, offering a contract from December 8 through May 22. This role requires onsite presence and involves supporting a caseload of approximately 40 students, providing assessment, intervention, and consultation services essential to student success and well-being.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed or certified School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged students
- Strong skills in psychoeducational assessments and interventions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff
- Familiarity with response to intervention (RTI) models and individualized education programs (IEPs)
Location: Aurora, Colorado Elementary School Setting
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results to guide educational planning
- Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student development and address behavioral or learning challenges
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the creation of IEPs
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to confidentiality standards
