Job Title: Customer Support Representative
Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Duration: 1 Year
Location: Johnston, IA 50131
Shift: Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM CST
Role Overview
• Provide frontline support to customers, partners, and internal teams
• Resolve product-related inquiries and service issues
• Enhance customer satisfaction and retention through effective support
Responsibilities
• Provide product and service information to customers
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations
• Process custom and special orders
• Coordinate with internal teams for order fulfillment
• Make outbound calls and follow-ups with customers
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Document all customer interactions in CRM systems
• Collect and clarify customer requirements
• Support warranty, parts lookup, and product-related queries
• Deliver high-quality customer service aligned with company standards
• Follow policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in training and stay updated on products and processes
Must Have
• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Comfortable using CRM and other software tools
• Ability to handle customer queries and resolve conflicts
• Strong computer and research skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
Nice to Have
• Experience in technical or product support environments
• Experience handling escalations or complex customer issues
• Knowledge of equipment (agriculture, turf, or machinery)
• Experience in sales through service or upselling
• Familiarity with CRM systems and customer support tools
