An educational services provider is seeking a Substitute Paraprofessional to support student instruction and engagement in various classroom environments. The position involves assisting educators in implementing lesson activities and maintaining positive learning conditions. Fingerprinting and background clearance are required.
Responsibilities:

Assist teachers by supporting academic lessons and reinforcing instruction for individual students or small groups.

Supervise students throughout daily routines, ensuring safety and appropriate behavior.

Provide encouragement and behavioral redirection to promote positive participation.

Document progress and communicate observations to the teaching staff.

Uphold district and state guidelines related to confidentiality and student conduct.
Qualifications / Desired Experience: -
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or relevant coursework preferred.

Previous experience supporting students or youth programs desirable.

Must complete fingerprinting and background check before assignment.

Ability to manage classroom dynamics calmly and professionally.

Dependable, adaptable, and able to follow teacher direction.
