Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare / Clinical Recruiter to join our staffing agency in Farmington Hills, MI. This role focuses on recruiting clinical and healthcare professionals for Payers, healthcare systems, clinics, and allied health organizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare roles, credentialing requirements, and the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle within a fast-paced staffing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and recruit healthcare and clinical professionals, including nurses, allied health, technicians, and other clinical roles
- Manage full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, interviewing, credential verification, offer negotiation, and onboarding
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified healthcare candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, and networking
- Conduct detailed screening interviews to assess clinical background, licensure, certifications, and experience
- Coordinate and verify compliance requirements, including licenses, certifications, immunizations, background checks, and drug screenings
- Partner closely with account managers and clients to understand staffing needs, role requirements, and hiring timelines
- Educate candidates on assignment details, pay structures, schedules, and client expectations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Ensure compliance with healthcare staffing standards, state regulations, and client-specific requirements
- Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment and onboarding process
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience recruiting in healthcare or clinical staffing (agency experience strongly preferred)
- Solid understanding of healthcare roles, credentials, and compliance requirements
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple open requisitions in a high-volume environment
- Experience working with ATS and job boards (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn, Monster, etc.)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
- Strong relationship-building and candidate engagement skill
