A K-12 educational setting in Grove City, OH, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position during the upcoming school year. This opportunity involves working primarily with students in grades K-8, splitting caseload responsibilities alongside an onsite SLP. The position requires flexibility, with 2 to 3 days per week scheduled, and offers the chance to support diverse pediatric populations including teletherapy and school-based services.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Ohio SLP license and eligibility or willingness to obtain Ohio teaching certification
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably with K-8 students
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Ability to provide teletherapy services
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred; flexibility considered for the right candidate
- Capable of managing caseload collaboratively within a school environment
Location:
- Grove City, Ohio (within a K-12 school district)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech-language services to students exhibiting various communication disabilities
- Collaborate with onsite staff to ensure continuity of care and progress monitoring
- Utilize teletherapy methods as required to enhance accessibility and effectiveness
- Participate in evaluations, individualized education program (IEP) development, and parent communication
- Maintain compliance with state licensure and school district policies
