Material Handler
Our client, a leading player in the logistics and supply chain industry, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the efficient movement of materials and products. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent mathematical skills, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.
Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Manawa, WI
Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift on a 2,2,3 Schedule (straight days)
Yellow Day Shift Crew
Pay Rate: $24.05/hour
What's the Job?
- Operate standard and non-standard counterbalance lift equipment, turret truck lift equipment, and other necessary machinery.
- Adhere to all company and departmental guidelines, including safety and food safety protocols.
- Stack, load, and unload materials onto or off of pallets and skids using lifting devices.
- Maintain the condition of forklift equipment by performing routine checks and maintenance.
- Train for the use of the warehouse management system, including computers, scanners, and printers.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 12 months to 3 years of qualifying material handling experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence in English.
- Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- GMP and Safety certification, Forklift/Raymond truck certification preferred.
