Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required
• First-time travelers welcome to apply
• Current BCLS certification required
• Active state RN license required
• Must be available for occasional on-call coverage
• Weekend rotation required (approximately 1 Saturday shift every 6 weeks)

We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) for an Operating Room travel assignment in Los Angeles, California. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care, collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams, maintain patient safety throughout procedures, and ensure adherence to established clinical standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to surgical patients before, during, and after procedures
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for surgical cases
• Assist surgeons and procedural teams during operations
• Monitor patient condition and advocate for patient safety
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory guidelines
